  2. Well played Wales, the best performance I have seen from them in a long time, this is a very good Montenegro side they have beaten this evening. It may be too late to achieve anything in this qualification group, but it is certainly something to build on looking further ahead.

  3. 90+4

Full time: Wales 2 Montenegro 1

  4. 90+4

Substitution for Wales: Gareth Bale jogs off to be replaced by Rob Earnshaw.

  5. 90+3

Jovanovic tries a low shot that is deflected, Hennessey fumbles.....but claims at the second attempt. Phew!

  6. 90

Three minutes will be added on.

  7. 88

Nerves are becoming frayed now! A free-kick causes chaos in the Wales penalty area, Hennessey dives to his right to keep out a shot before the assistant referee signals offside, allowing everyone to breathe a huge sigh of relief.

  8. 87

Bellamy just hasn't stopped running this evening and once again he breaks down the left and puts in a dangerous low cross that's cleared out for a throw-in.

  9. 85

Vukcevic has a shot that Hennessey can only parry, luckily for him Blake is on hand to hack the ball away.

  10. 83

Substitution for Wales: Steve Morison is replaced by Hal Robson-Kanu.

  11. 83

Substitution for Montenegro: Milan Jovanovic comes on for Sasa Balic

  12. 81

Balic curls in a cross that Hennessey confidently claims. He has had a good, solid game for Wales this evening.

  13. 79

Substitution for Montenegro: Mirko Vucinic is replaced by Andrija Delibasic

  14. 78

Yellow card: Vukcevic is shown a yellow card for a late foul on Bellamy.

  15. 76

Great play from Bale as he tries to launch a counter-attack. He plays a one-two with Morison before scooping a shot wide from the edge of the box. However, the replay showed that Bellamy was in acres of space behind Morison had he let the ball run.

  16. 73

That was a chance! A Montenegro corner beats everyone before finding Damjanovic at the far post, but his snap-shot goes over. It is going to be a nervy final 15 minutes for Wales.

  17. 71

Wales pay the price for dropping too deep. A neat, flowing Montenegro move finds Jovetic on the left edge of the area who cuts inside and blast home an unstoppable right-foot shot. Game on.

  18. 71

    Goal!! Jovetic!!

  19. 67

Montenegro finally wake up and Vukcevic has a great chance in the area, his scuffed shot though is just about turned around the post by Hennessey, there were two players on the line as well just to make sure.

  20. 66

We haven't had one for a while. Batak becomes the latest Montenegro player to have a shot from distance that - unsurprisngly - goes well, well over.

  21. 64

Substitution for Wales: Standing ovation for Aaron Ramsey as he makes way for Andrew Crofts. Brilliant display from the Arsenal man.

  22. 61

Wales, take a bow. More fantastic, fluid play involving Ramsey, Morison and Bale results in a fizzing cross that is just over the head of the diving Craig Bellamy.

  23. 60

Sasa Balic is a lukcy, lucky boy. Twice now he has gone flying in on Gareth Bale in this half but despite being on a yellow the referee has chosen not to show him a second.

  24. 59

Damjanovic puts in a cross from the right that is nowhere near anyone and drifts out for a goal-kick.

  25. 57

Substitution for Montenegro: Radomir Djalovic is replaced by Dejan Damjanovic.

  26. 56

Batak finds himself unmarked in the penalty area following a Montenegro corner but he heads the ball straight at Hennessey.

  27. 54

Here's Bellamy again, this time putting in a looping cross for Bale, who can't generate enough power in his header. It needs to be pointed out that Montenegro are ranked 19th in the FIFA rankings. I won't say where Wales are but on this performance they should be much higher.

  28. 52

Bellamy puts a ball in from the left that Morison stoops to meet, but he can't quite get his header on target. Another good move. I have been so impressed with Wales this evening .

  29. 49

Bale latches onto a long ball down the right, moves into the box and strokes it across the middle for Aaron Ramsey to slot home. Great play by Gary Speed's men.

  30. 49

    Goal!! Ramsey!!!

  31. 48

Good start to the second half by Wales, picking up where they left off before the break.

  32. ArwynJones6 tweets: Nice to see Wales get on the score sheet! Hopefully help us get up the rankings!

  33. 46

Wales get this second half underway

  34. Well, how was that Wales fans? Please let me know your thoughts - you email me tom.mallows@bskyb.com or send me a tweet @Tom_Mallows

  35. 45+1

There's the half-time whistle. A great performance from Wales who have got better as the half went on. They deserve to lead at the break.

  36. 45

One minute will be added on.

  37. 44

Yellow Card: Craig Bellamy goes into the book for a shoulder barge on the half-way line. Another soft one by the referee and it's crucial - Bellamy will now miss the game at Wembley on Tuesday.

  38. 43

More great play from Wales! Bellamy puts in a teasing cross from the left that Bozovic punches clear. Bale then picks it up and fires in an effort that just goes wide of the far post.

  39. 40

Off the line! Bozovic flaps at the corner, Bellamy hooks the ball back into the box and Morison sees his looping header hooked off the line by Zverotic. Wales have grown into this game and are finishing the half well on top.

  40. 39

Morison manages to stay onside and outpace the Montenegro defence. He is a tight angle though and his shot is well saved for a corner.

  41. 38

Yellow Card: The most cyncial foul of the game award goes to Nikola Drincic, who trips up Bale just as he is about to go on a bursting run. Drincic is rightly shown yellow.

  42. 37

That bit of play sums Montenegro up: A neat little move down the right tees up Djalovic in space in the area, but he scuffs the shot wide. At this level you have to do better.

  43. 36

Yellow Card: David Vaughan is rightly booked for a late tackle on the halfway line - he will now miss the England game on Tuesday.

  44. 32

This is a big test for Montenegro, for all their neat play they don't score many goals (though from tonight's shooting I can understand why). Need to turn this game around if they are to keep their automatic qualification hopes alive.

  45. 31

What an effort!! Wales are buzzing after the goal, no more so than Gareth Bale who cuts in from the right and lets fly with a fizzing effort that Bozovic does well to tip over.

  46. 29

David Vaughan goes on a surging run on the left and puts in a low cross that Bozovic fumbles, allowing Steve Morison to sweep home from close range. Wales have the breakthrough!

  47. 29

    Goal!! Morison!!!

  48. 27

Yellow Card: Now that was a booking. Sasa Balic steams into Gareth Bale nowhere near the ball and rightly goes into the referee's book.

  49. 26

Confident play from Darcy Blake, who initially tried to shield the ball out for a goal kick before nonchalantly knocking it past two opposition players and hitting it clear.

  50. 25

Williams incidently isn't one of those players already on a yellow card. He still needs to be careful for the rest of this game though.

  51. 24

Yellow Card: Ashley Williams goes into the book for, I think, a high foot. Either way that looked a bit harsh from here.

  52. 23

Bale, starting on the right this evening, tries an ambitious cross with the outside of his left foot that very nearly finds Morison. Unlucky that by the Spurs man.

  53. 22

If these guys could shoot they would be unstoppable. Vukcevic - again - has a shot from distance but he slices it out for a goal kick.

  54. 19

There are appeals for a penalty as Joe Ledley gets barged over in the box when trying to head Gareth Bale's centre. It certainly looked a clumsly challenge by Batak, the referee is having none of it however.

  55. 16

Jovetic cuts in dangerously from the right again and sends a shot spinning wide. It is only a matter of time before he gets one on target.

  56. 14

Montenegro are well on top here, Wales are being pinned back in their own half. We need a bit of magic from a Bale or Bellamy to help Wales force their way back into the game.

  57. 12

Vukcevic and Vucinic link up well again but Vucinic's shot is even further away than the last one. However, Wales can't allow him space to keep shooting as he will get one right at some point.

  58. 9

Vucinic isn't afraid to shoot and he has another pop from nearly 30 yards. It would take something special to beat Hennessey from their though. It isn't, and goes well, well wide.

  59. 7

Craig Bellamy does well to dance past two defenders but can't make it past a third.Unlucky. I feel the Liverpool new-boy must perform if Wales are to get a result tonight.

  60. 6

Montenegro launch a long ball, Darcy Blake hesistates and completely misses it. Luckily for him the ball bounces just out of reach of Vucinic and Wayne Henessesy can claim - bit of a let off that.

  61. 3

Montenegro do look mightily impressive and comfortable on the ball, Wales will just have to be a little bit patient here.

  62. 1

Bright start by Montenegro, Jovetic and Vucinic combine down the right and Jovetic goes for the shot from distance but skews it wide.

  63. Montenegro, all in white this evening, get us underway. Wales are in their traditional all red.

  64. Gary Speed and his players stands to attention for the national anthem. The fans show how its done, proudly singing along, flags and scarves held aloft.

  65. Simon Wood tweets: Not a lot to play for, but the team needs to impress Speed and put a marker down. Plus it would be nice to move off 0 points!

  66. Here come the teams...

  67. The Wales team are gathering in the tunnel, waiting patiently for their opponents to emerge from the dressing room.

  68. Fancy a bet on the game? SkyBet has Wales 17/10 the draw 9/4 and Montenegro 8/5.

  69. So, things are looking pretty desperate for Wales at the foot of Group G, planning for the 2014 World qualifiers starts here. A win, of course, would help England - Wales supporters what do you think of that? You can email me tom.mallows@bskyb.com or send me a tweet @Tom_Mallows.
