Full-time. England 0 Montenegro 0.
Davies in yellow card shocker. I was so tempted to put some money on him being booked during his 20-min appearance. Dammit.
Djalovic is replaced by Delibasic.
Crouch is replaced by debutant Davies.
Booking update: Kascelan, just seconds after coming on, goes into the book.
Another booking, this time for Barry. Harsh again. The German referee Manuel Grafe has not had a great game.
Novakovic is replaced by Kascelan.
Ashley Young is carded for diving. That looked very harsh to me. It would have been a harsh decision to award a penalty, but to call a dive was very brave indeed from the referee.
Kevin Davies is out warming up... Meanwhile, Basa is carded for a lunge on Ashley Young.
Rooney is booked for a cynical tackle after Barry had gifted the visitors a counter-attack. Rooney took one for the team there.
Half-time. England 0 Montenegro 0.
England soak up pressure and spring clear. Young speeds forward and is blocked off by Djudovic right on the edge of the box. A yellow card is rightly dished out.
Fancy a flutter? Here are some odds from our lovely friends at Sky Bet: England ¼ Draw 9/2 Montenegro 10/1.
Off on a slight tangent, Bob rightly applauds in the direction of the England Under 21 side, who today qualified for next year's European Championship.
Ed Chalmers would have liked to have seen Tom Huddlestone involved this evening. I agree, Ed, he is a decent player. But, looking at the bench, who would you select him over? The exciting Wilshere?
Taymur makes an interesting point: he wonders if Gerrard plays badly, will the media then point to him being relieved of the captaincy as the reason for the dip in form. Time will tell, I guess Taymur.
With Vucinic missing, Tyrone, rightly I feel, highlights the threat of Vukcevic, who is a nifty playmaker. Meanwhile, Ed hopes that Kevin Davies makes an appearance this evening. If England do find themselves cruising, you have to wonder if Capello has the heart to reward Davies with his first ever cap.
It is most certainly worth noting that Ashley Young is given the nod over SWP. Said call comes as a relief to yours truly as I am a great believer in rewarding those players in form and actually playing for their club. Meanwhile, Paul offers his congratulations to Mr Cole for his soon-to-be-won 86th cap.
Steve is tipping Adam Johnson to wow the England crowd tonight with a fine display, predicting that the Manchester City winger will play a key role in a 2-0 success for the home nation.
