Guardado: On target
Mexico continued their preparations for this summer's World Cup with a 1-0 win over Angola in Houston.
Javier Aguirre's side played in front of more than 70,000 spectators in the Reliant Stadium, for their fourth match of their US tour.
Deportivo La Coruna midfielder Andres Guardado scored the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute, as Mexico kept another clean sheet.
They were rarely tested by Angola, who themselves failed to qualify for the World Cup on their home continent.
The African outfit created little of note until a testing effort from Maeco Antonio Rasca in the last 10 minutes.
Mexico have been drawn in Group A for the World Cup and will play the opening game against South Africa, and also face matches against France and Uruguay.
It seems they are trying to base their success on a watertight defence after previous clean sheets in friendly games against Senegal and Ecuador.
They travel to Wembley to face England later this month before this summer's showpiece spectacle.
