Grimsby and Barnet lock horns in a crucial bottom of the table clash which could see the hosts relegated.

The Mariners sit four points adrift of safety with only two games remaining, so know they must win this weekend to keep their survival dreams alive.

The Bees are the side directly above the drop zone, having suffered five straight defeats, but know a point will be enough to preserve their Football League status for another year.

Grimsby team news

Grimsby are waiting nervously on the fitness of several players ahead of the all or nothing encounter.

Defender Olly Lancashire (shin), midfielder Peter Sweeney (back) and striker Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro (thigh) are nursing injuries following the 2-0 victory at Darlington last weekend.

Meanwhile, Lee Peacock has yet to train this week due to an ear and throat infection.

On-loan midfielder Dean Sinclair (hamstring) has been receiving treatment at parent club Charlton. He has resumed light training but remains a doubt.

Barnet team news

Paul Fairclough is hoping to have striker Jake Hyde available as he prepares to pick his first Barnet team since December 2008.

Fairclough has returned to the helm after Ian Hendon was sacked in midweek following the 1-0 defeat at Accrington which left the Bees in relegation danger.

Hyde has missed the last three games with an ankle injury but could return while defender Ismail Yakubu remains sidelined with his back problem.

Fellow defender Daniel Leach is struggling with food poisoning but Gary Breen, who will continue as assistant manager, is fit to play.
