Torrejon: Opening goal
Spain crashed out of European U21 Championship despite beating Finland 2-0 in their final Group B clash.
Goals from Marc Torrejon and Sanchez Pedro Leon helped Spain to victory over Finland, but it was not enough for the pre-tournament favourites to reach the semi-finals.
Germany's 1-1 draw with England in the other group game rendered Spain's victory meaningless as Germany and England both progressed to the last four.
After a quiet opening, Spain broke the deadlock just before the half hour mark when Torrejon smashed the ball home from 12 yards after the Finland defence failed to clear Esteban Granero's free-kick.
Spain added a second goal 10 minutes after the break when the impressive Pedro Leon curled a superb free-kick in off the underside of the crossbar.
The Spaniards had further chances to add to their lead, but Newcastle striker Xisco and Granero both missed good openings.
