    West Brom throw everyone forward leaving Petrov and Sturridge to finish the game of but neither finds the finish.

    City will have to play with ten men as Zabaleta trundles off, West Brom come forward they look to find an opening and Kompany concedes a free-kick for fouling Simpson.

Robinho netted his first goal of the year, before City doubled their lead through Onuoha albeit in dubious fashion after Caicedo appeared to have blocked off Carson.     West Brom try to get their passing game going and play it well down the right. Zuiverloon picks up the ball on the by-line but his cross is far too deep for Fortune and City have possession.

    Greening fizzes it and Olsson forces a corner. The corner is initially cleared to Koren who plays a lovely reserve ball to Morrison who tees up Meite who has to score from two yards....but the Albion centre back has concrete feet and he bustles the ball the wrong side of the post.

    GOAL ROBINHO West Brom give the ball away on the half-way line and Ireland has it in the middle. He brings the ball forward gets his head up and delivers a wicked ball into the box, and Robinho drifts into the box and connects beautifully on the volley to give City the lead.
