      Gaffe gifts points to Walsall

An injury-time own goal from Stockport goalkeeper Conrad Logan was enough to hand Walsall a 2-1 victory. Logan appeared to collide with Tommy Rowe as he stretched to reach Jabo Ibehre's cross, but he could only punch the ball into his own net. Walsall produced a decent first-half performance in the battle between two mid-table sides, but it was Stockport who were denied by the woodwork after just six minutes. Chris O'Grady teed up Oli Johnson but his 18-yard drive struck the post and the visitors capitalised by going in front six minutes later. The Stockport defence failed to clear Sofiene Zaaboub's out-swinging corner and defender Anthony Gerrard smashed home the loose ball from 10 yards. Stockport missed a great chance to level when Rowe planted a penalty high over the crossbar after Ibehre had clumsily handled Greg Tansey's cross. The Hatters did level in the 76th minute when substitute Danny Pilkington was tripped and Tansey curled home a free-kick from just outside the box but Walsall grabbed the points in dramatic fashion after Logan's own goal in the dying seconds.
