Rochdale manager Hill will assess the fitness of defender Tom Kennedy ahead of Monday's game.
The left-back picked up a knock and was replaced midway through the second half of Tuesday's goalless home draw against Port Vale but Hill is hopeful he will be passed fit.
Blackburn goalkeeper Frank Fielding is set to make his second debut for the club having returned on loan due to the expiration of Tom Heaton's deal.
Fellow new arrivals Will Atkinson and Tope Obadeyi are also available having arrived on Saturday, with Hill boasting no other major injury concerns.
But the Dale boss will be without winger Will Buckley after he joined Watford for an undisclosed fee earlier this week.
