Gallen: Put Hatters in front

Luton extended their unbeaten run to four games with a first away win since October as Vale's disgruntled fans chanted for the head of manager Dean Glover following the 3-1 home defeat.

The visitors played some slick football in the early stages with Chris Martin striking the post.

Vale took the lead against the run of play in the 25th minute when John McCombe prodded home Adnan Ahmed's free-kick.

The visitors grabbed a deserved equaliser two minutes before the interval when Ian Henderson took advantage of some slack defending to pick out Asa Hall, who fired home his eighth goal of the campaign.

Kevin Gallen fired Luton ahead seven minutes into the second half before Martin beat Anthony Griffith to a long pass and hit the third in the 63rd minute.
