Rotherham staged a magnificent second-half recovery to maintain their charge at the top of League Two with a 3-1 win against Chesterfield.
The Millers went top after the win in Saturday's only League Two early kick-off and remain at the helm on goal difference after Dagenham's draw at Cheltenham.
After an evenly matched opening 20 minutes the away side were gifted an opportunity to take the lead when Rotherham's Jamie Green was judged to have brought down Drew Talbot inside the area.
The decision was not without controversy as referee Nigel Miller originally awarded a free-kick on the edge of the box.
However, after consulting with his assistant - and to the amazement of everyone watching on - he pointed to spot.
Jamie Lowry took full advantage as he thumped the penalty high down the middle leaving Andy Warrington no chance in the Millers goal on 21 minutes.
Rotherham emerged for the second half with extra bite and midfielder Nicky Law was inspirational as they clawed their way back into control of the game.
It took until midway through the half for the home side to break the opposition down but they did so when midfielder Danny Harrison fired home on 68 minutes.
The Spireites were rattled and within five minutes the game had been turned on its head as the in-form Adam Le Fondre poked home on 73 minutes, handing the home side the lead to the delight of the Don Valley Stadium.
Midfielder Kevin Ellison rounded off the comeback with just nine minutes remaining as he tapped in from six yards on 81 minutes completing a whirlwind period for the Millers.
