Leyton Orient v MK Dons preview

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Leyton Orient and MK Dons at the Matchroom Stadium.

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade has lost another member of his threadbare squad. Slade could only name five substitutes for the 2-1 defeat at Colchester last weekend and has since seen one of them, striker Shaun Batt, recalled from his loan spell by parent club Millwall. Winger Lee Cook and forward David Mooney were already missing with knocks and will be assessed. Skipper Nathan Clarke was Slade's only recognised centre-half in Essex and was partnered by midfielder Romain Vincelot as Scott Cuthbert, Elliot Omozusi and Matheiu Baudry are all injured. Baudry is closest to returning from a hip injury but Omozusi's shoulder problem is likely to keep him out a while longer and Cuthbert is out for the season with a fractured metatarsal. Stephen Gleeson is an injury concern for MK Dons ahead of their trip to Leyton Orient. Gleeson was forced off just three minutes into the second half of the 2-0 home win over Swindon on Tuesday night with an ankle injury and the central midfielder will be assessed. Chris Lines replaced him against the Robins and is likely to do so at Brisbane Road should Gleeson miss out. However, Alan Smith is another option for manager Karl Robinson. Captain Dean Lewington started for the first time against Swindon since suffering knee ligament damage last month and came through the game unscathed, so he is expected to retain his place at left-back. Goalkeeper David Martin remains sidelined with the back injury that has kept him out for almost seven weeks.
