Whites take on Bees at Elland Road

Leeds will be keen to get a win under their belt when Brentford travel to Elland Road in League One on Saturday. The Whites have only managed one win in their last six league games and are looking far from the imposing side they were before the shock FA Cup victory at Manchester United. Simon Grayson's men have a difficult March ahead of them - they face trips to Tranmere, Southampton and Norwich with a home tie against Millwall sandwiched in between - so three points against the Bees would set them on their way. One man who has not been firing on all cylinders of late is Jermaine Beckford. United's star striker has not found the back of the net since January - an unheard of drought for a player who usually terrorises defenders in the third tier. Manager Grayson could field an unchanged side for the game. The Leeds boss has no new injury or suspension problems and is unlikely to make too many changes from the side that drew 2-2 at Huddersfield last week. Left-back Ben Parker has been dealt another injury blow after sustaining a knee injury in training, which kept him out of a reserve-team game this week. Parker has made only one appearance for Leeds this season, on the opening day, and has been struggling to regain full fitness following surgery to resolve a groin problem. Midfield pair Bradley Johnson and Neil Kilkenny are pressing for recalls after starting on the substitutes' bench last week. Goalkeeper Shane Higgs is not yet ready to return from a long-term thigh injury.

Brentford news

Brentford, meanwhile, have only conceded 16 goals away from home this season which alongside Leeds is the tightest backline in the division on the road, although they have only scored eight away from Griffin Park. Bees manager Andy Scott will hope to welcome back defender Ryan Dickson for the trip. The left-back has been sidelined for three weeks with a knee injury after a training-ground collision with goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. Dickson has only missed one game as Brentford's last two matches were postponed, and he was due to resume full training on Thursday. Midfielder Marcus Bean is fully fit after recovering from a knee injury and could return to the starting line-up. Ben Strevens and Charlie MacDonald look set to start in attack after young striker John Akinde returned to Bristol City after an unsuccessful loan spell. Goalkeeper Nikki Bull remains the only long-term absentee as he continues his recovery from last year's shoulder operation.
