Bairns hoping to get points on the board against Hibs

Falkirk will be looking to bounce back from an opening day mauling when they entertain Hibernian. The Bairns slipped to a 4-1 defeat at Rangers last weekend and will be desperate to get their season up and running. In contrast, Hibs secured a morale-boosting success over St Mirren, thanks to a late winner, last time out and will enter Saturday's encounter in buoyant mood. Falkirk will make a last-minute decision on the fitness of Thomas Scobbie and Vitor Lima. Left-back Scobbie (knee) and midfielder Lima (thigh) went off injured during the defeat to Rangers. Striker Mark Stewart (groin) is still missing while Neil McCann's departure from the club has finally been confirmed. Anthony Stokes could make his Hibernian debut this weekend if international clearance arrives in time. The 21-year-old striker, who has joined from Sunderland on a three-year deal, played under Hibs boss John Hughes while on loan with the Bairns three years ago. Hughes will still be without suspended defender Ian Murray and injured striker Jonatan Johansson, while midfielder Merouane Zemmama is back in contention after sitting out last weekend's 2-1 win against St Mirren.
