Image: Bauza: Still sidelined but will play soon

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Exeter City and Bournemouth at St James Park.

Striker Guillem Bauza is back in training but will not feature in Exeter's squad. Bauza has been struggling with a hamstring injury but could return to consideration for the match against Sheffield Wednesday next week. Fellow forward John O'Flynn (knee) remains sidelined, however, along with midfielder Liam Sercombe (foot), who is some considerable way from a return to full fitness. Front man Daniel Nardiello will serve the second of his two-match ban, picked up for his dismissal at Charlton last weekend. Those losses have been offset, though, by the capture of Matthew Whichelow on a month's loan from Watford. The forward boasts considerable pedigree, having featured for the Hornets 19 times last season, and may well start against the Cherries. Meanwhile Shaun McDonald will miss out for Bournemouth after being ruled out of action for four weeks. The defender suffered a hairline fracture to a toe during the 3-0 home defeat to Chesterfield last week and will not be available to boss Lee Bradbury for a month. Mark Molesley has also suffered a suspected slight hamstring tear and will not be involved this weekend. The club are waiting on the results of a scan to confirm the diagnosis. Shaun Cooper, who did not start a league match for the first time this season in midweek, is expected to be recalled. Michael Symes (groin) and Joe Partington (hip) are still sidelined, but Darryl Flahavan is expected to keep his place in goal ahead of Shwan Jalal.
