The right-back suffered a hamstring injury in the Carling Cup defeat to Ipswich last month but has made a swift return to training to put himself in contention.
Rhys Taylor will continue after Gradi agreed a deal to extend the goalkeeper's loan deal from Chelsea until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old joined the League Two club on an initial two-month deal as cover for Steve Phillips, who is recovering from shoulder surgery. That deal was due to expire on Wednesday.
Phillips is nearing a return after stepping up his training routine this week but is not yet fit enough to feature.
