Image: Brian Wilson: Back from ban

Team news ahead of Tuesday night's League One clash between Colchester United and MK Dons at Weston Homes Community Stadium.

Brian Wilson returns from suspension as Colchester aim to recover from their FA Cup nightmare. The right-back missed Saturday's desperately disappointing 3-1 defeat at non-league neighbours Chelmsford but is guaranteed a starting berth against the Magpies. Manager Joe Dunne described the humiliating exit as the worst day in his footballing career but backed the U's recover. Wilson aside, further changes are now on the agenda as Colchester look to bounce back immediately. Midfielder John-Joe O'Toole is a leading contender for a starting berth, as is striker Freddie Sears, while the likes of Gavin Massey, Andy Bond, Karl Duguid and Clinton Morrison will also be pushing be inclusion. Kem Izzet remains sidelined with his long-standing hip injury. Alan Sheehan and Lee Hughes could come back into the reckoning for Notts County. Full-back Sheehan (hamstring) and veteran striker Hughes both missed the FA Cup first-round win over Portsmouth on Saturday through injury and illness respectively. Midfielder Joss Labadie (knee) and defender Tom Williams (calf) both made late substitute appearances at Fratton Park following injury lay-offs and they should be in the squad once again. Carl Regan remains a doubt with his ankle problem while manager Keith Curle will still be without fellow defender Manny Smith (knee) and goalkeeper Fabian Spiess (knee). County will be looking to extend their club-record run of away league games without defeat to 16 matches in Essex.
