Cheltenham out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy
Walsall hit back from a goal down to sink Cheltenham 2-1 in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at Whaddon Road.
The Saddlers fielded a full-strength side, while Cheltenham made nine changes from the team which drew 3-3 at Brighton on Saturday.
But the Robins took a fourth-minute lead when Ben Gill cut the ball back for transfer-listed winger Josh Low to side-foot home from 10 yards.
Walsall hit back and goalkeeper Scott Brown made fine saves from Michael Ricketts twice, Stephen Hughes and Jabo Ibehre before half-time.
But Walsall's pressure told on the hour when Richard Taundry crossed for Ibehre to head home.
And the winner came after 74 minutes when Chris Palmer's cross was touched home by the head of Ricketts to send Walsall into the next round.
