Celtic v Hibernian preview

Image: O'Connor: Injury doubt

Team news for Saturday's SPL clash between Celtic and Hibernian at Parkhead.

Charlie Mulgrew and Georgios Samaras return to the Celtic squad. The Hoops stand-in skipper and the Greece striker have both recovered from ankle problems. Defender Glenn Loovens (hamstring) and Kris Commons (calf) are out for another week while Mo Bangura is out for another fortnight with his knee complaint. Ian Murray and Garry O'Connor are injury doubts for the visitors. Murray has had a niggling hip/groin problem, while O'Connor picked up a dead leg in the 4-1 Scottish Communities League Cup loss to Celtic on Wednesday night. On-loan Richie Towell is again unavailable against his parent club, but Ivan Sproule is free to play despite his quarter-final sending-off, with the suspension applying to the cup competition.
