    Carlisle v Stevenage preview

    Image: Miller: Doubtful

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Carlisle and Stevenage at Brunton Park.

Carlisle's leading goalscorer Lee Miller is doubtful for the home clash due to a groin injury. The Scot was forced out of last week's 4-1 defeat at Chesterfield after scoring his fifth goal in six appearances for the Cumbrians since arriving from Middlesbrough in August. Craig Curran replaced Miller on Saturday and will be in contention to retain his place should the latter fail to make it. Carlisle have lost five of their last six games in total and three of their last four league matches, in which they have conceded 10 goals, and manager Greg Abbott may opt to make changes. Midfielder Tom Taiwo has been an unused substitute in the last two games but could win a recall, while defenders Danny Livesey and Stephen O'Halloran provide Abbott with extra options at the back. Stevenage will hope to have John Mousinho back for the long trip. Midfielder Mousinho missed the 2-0 home defeat to Notts County last weekend after a hamstring injury forced him off early in the second half of the previous game - a 5-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday at the Lamex Stadium. His progress is being monitored and manager Graham Westley will make a late decision over his inclusion. Alan Julian, Phil Edwards, Chris Beardsley, Byron Harrison and Josh Walker - all on the bench against County - were part of a strong reserve-team line-up that drew with Oxford this week. The quintet, along with Robin Shroot and Guy Madjo, will hope to force their way into Westley's plans.
