Highlights of Carlisle v Cambridge from Brunton Park.

Carlisle were inspired by a Jabo Ibehre hat-trick as they came from behind three times to share the spoils in a 4-4 thriller against Cambridge.

Charlie Wyke scored Carlisle's other goal while the dangerous Barry Corr claimed a brace for the U's, for whom George Taft and Luke Berry were also on target.

Cambridge's 11th-minute opener came from a slick move, aided by Carlisle's poor defending after giving the ball away in midfield. Harrison Dunk's cross from the left was flighted perfectly for the unmarked Corr whose downward header deceived Mark Gillespie as it slid just inside the goalkeeper's left-hand post.

Taft made it 2-0 in the 21st minute, slotting home a low shot through a crowd of players from 15 yards after Gillespie had parried out a close-range effort by Corr.

The home side finally got their act together before half-time when Ibehre pounced on a loose ball 15 yards out to rifle home a low right-foot shot.

The big striker was on target again two minutes later, rising to meet Danny Grainger's left-wing cross and head past Sam Beasant from six yards.

However, Carlisle were only on terms for a minute before Luke Joyce was caught in possession and Berry played in Corr, who had time and space to slip the ball past Gillespie for his second of the game, rounding off a frantic spell of three goals in as many minutes just before the break.

Carlisle made it 3-3 in the 50th minute when Wyke turned sharply on the edge of the penalty area before drilling an accurate low shot home.

No sooner had Carlisle levelled than Berry restored the U's advantage in the 58th minute, taking a pass from Conor Newton to slip the ball beyond Gillespie after Tom Miller had lost possession on the halfway line.

But Ibehre made it all square once more in the 77th minute, driving a low effort through a packed penalty area after Grainger's corner was half cleared to him to end the scoring on a dramatic afternoon.
