Burnley winger Chris Eagles remains suspended against Blackpool with the visitors set to be unchanged.

Eagles suspended; visitors set to be unchanged

Burnley will again be without suspended winger Chris Eagles against Blackpool with the visitors set to be unchanged. Former Manchester United trainee Eagles, who joined the Clarets in a summer move from Old Trafford, serves the second game of a three-match ban following his sending-off in the recent goalless home draw with Plymouth. Manager Owen Coyle will be reluctant to make changes following his side's 2-1 victory at Nottingham Forest on Saturday. It was their first Championship win of the season and saw new recruit Steven Thompson partner Martin Paterson in attack. Thompson enjoyed a fine debut as Burnley recorded their first win at the City Ground since 1964. Stephen Jordan was given the nod ahead of Christian Kalvenes at left-back and is expected to retain his place.

Blackpool news

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson will be reluctant to make changes to his side when they travel to face their Lancashire rivals. The Seasiders recorded their second successive Championship win on Saturday after beating Barnsley 1-0 at Bloomfield Road. Grayson named an unchanged side to face the Tykes following the victory at Southampton by the same scoreline in their previous outing. Steve Kabba - who scored a spectacular winner on Saturday - will again spearhead the attack as Blackpool seek to record their third straight win. On-loan Derby defender Mo Camara will continue to deputise for Stephen Crainey at left-back as the former Leeds man recovers from a groin injury. Midfielder Keith Southern is again likely to have to settle for a place among the substitutes at Turf Moor.
