Brighton v Charlton preview

Team news ahead of Wednesday night's League One clash between Brighton and Charlton at the Withdean Stadium.

Chris Holroyd could be added to the Brighton squad for the clash against promotion rivals Charlton. The striker has returned from a three-month loan spell at Stevenage, during which he scored six goals in 12 appearances, and gives Albion boss Gus Poyet another option in attack. Long-term injury victims Alan Navarro and Kazenga LuaLua are the only players on the Seagulls' casualty list. Midfielder Navarro hopes to return in February as he recovers from cruciate ligament damage and loan winger LuaLua is back with parent club Newcastle after breaking his ankle last month. Bulgarian midfielder Radostin Kishishev will line up against the club for whom he made 200 appearances during a successful seven-year spell. Charlton will be without striker Akpo Sodje, who suffered a shoulder injury during the 1-0 defeat by Walsall earlier this month and is not expected back for another couple of weeks. Manager Phil Parkinson will recall winger Johnnie Jackson and frontman Paul Benson after they dropped to the bench for Charlton's last outing, the penalty shoot-out defeat at Brentford in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy a fortnight ago. Parkinson has a selection dilemma at right-back after teenager Carl Jenkinson's fine debut performance against the Bees. Simon Francis was rested and will push to reclaim his spot while Marcel Seip returns after being cup-tied to provide a third option. Defenders Chris Solly (ankle) and Kelly Youga (knee) remain on the sidelines.
