Brentford v Notts County preview

Team news for Friday's League One clash between Brentford and Notts County at Griffin Park.

Kevin O'Connor and Farid El Alagui could make their long-awaited returns to the Brentford squad. Club captain O'Connor has been out since November with an ankle problem and striker El Alagui suffered a knee injury five months ago. But both players have made two appearances for the Bees' reserves, with midfielder O'Connor playing the full 90 minutes against QPR on Monday. Striker Antonio German could also be drafted into the squad after being recalled from a loan spell at Gillingham. Boss Uwe Rosler has no new injury worries after last weekend's match at Sheffield United was postponed. But defender Scott Barron (hip) and goalkeeper Richard Lee (shoulder) are out for the rest of the season. Jamal Campbell-Ryce could return to the Notts County squad. Campbell-Ryce has missed the last two matches after a groin injury forced him off midway through the first half of the Magpies' 1-0 home defeat to Preston on March 12. The winger will continue to be assessed ahead of the game at Griffin Park. Right-back Julian Kelly made his comeback from a five-match absence against Swindon last Saturday, starting against the Robins and helping Chris Kiwomya's side secure a clean sheet in a goalless draw with the automatic promotion chasers. So, depending on the fitness of Campbell-Ryce, Kiwomya could have a full squad available for his first game since being appointed permanent manager on a three-year deal.
