Alessandro Diamanti and Antonio Di Natale were on target as Bologna and Udinese drew 1-1 on Sunday.

Second-half goals from Italy internationals Alessandro Diamanti and Antonio Di Natale cancelled each other out as Bologna and Udinese shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara. Diamanti tapped home from close range immediately after half-time for the home side but Di Natale responded in the 73rd minute to earn Udinese a point. The result makes little difference to either side's standing in Serie A, with Bologna remaining in the bottom three and their visitors in mid-table. Diamanti was straight into the action, curling a sixth-minute free-kick just wide, but Udinese responded with a wayward effort from Maurizio Domizzi and a weak Di Natale effort that was easily saved. Nicolo Cherubin had a chance when he met Diamanti's cross, but his header cleared the crossbar. Di Natale then curled a free-kick over as half-time arrived with no score. Diamanti wasted no time changing that after the restart, though, meeting Manolo Gabbiadini's cross in the six-yard box to put the home side ahead. He was denied a second when Zeljko Brkic saved his low shot, and Dusan Basta's effort at the other end was far too high. Udinese let a good chance slip away when Pablo Armero's pass was too far ahead of Di Natale, but the striker was not to be denied 10 minutes later. Substitute Math Ranegie's cross from the right was deflected to the feet of Di Natale, who swept the ball inside the far post to tie things up. Bologna could have snatched only their third win of the season with six minutes remaining, but substitute Panagiotis Kone miscontrolled the ball and allowed Brkic to claim.
