Bournemouth v Yeovil preview

Team news ahead of Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy second-round tie between Bournemouth and Yeovil at Dean Court.

Lee Bradbury is down the bare bones as he prepares his Bournemouth side. Midfielder Harry Arter is suspended and winger Wes Thomas is cup-tied for the match, while injury doubts remain over Ryan Doble (knee) and Scott Malone. Jayden Stockley and Warren Cummings are ready to deputise should the duo not be available for selection. Defender Mathieu Baudry is out with a hamstring strain, meaning Stephane Zubar is likely to partner Adam Barrett in the middle of defence. Nathan Byrne is set to go under the knife on Tuesday in an effort to aid his recovery from an ankle problem, but the defender is expected to be out of action for four months. Midfielder Mark Molesley has a hamstring tear which will keep him out for three weeks and Shaun McDonald has not yet recovered from a badly bruised toe. Striker Michael Symes and midfielder Joe Partington have returned to light training but will not take part in the fixture, with both players targeting next week's reserve-team match against Brighton as a comeback date. Bradbury may hand some first-team experience to youngsters Josh Carmichael, who impressed with a brief cameo earlier in the season, and Elliot Ward. Yeovil will be without suspended duo Ed Upson and Luke Ayling. Midfielder Upson and full-back Ayling both picked up their fifth bookings of the season during the 3-1 home defeat to Bury on Saturday, incurring one-match bans. The Glovers continue to be without knee injury victims Gavin Williams and Jon Obika, while Andy Williams remains two weeks away from a return to full fitness and midfielder Dominic Blizzard is also out of action. The match could present the opportunity of a full debut to re-signed striker Oli Johnson, who is on loan from Norwich. The front man came off the bench to play half an hour against Bury at the weekend.
