First Division strugglers Ayr booked themselves a Scottish Cup quarter-final clash with SPL side Hibernian courtesy of a 2-1 win over Falkirk.
Blair Alston broke the deadlock by giving Falkirk the lead after six minutes but Ayr responded in positive fashion to reach the last eight. Andy Geggan netted the equaliser on 19 minutes before Mark Roberts netted the winner from the penalty spot on 57 after Darren Dods handled.
