Dons look to pile pressure on Buddies

Aberdeen will be hoping to pull further away from danger when they host St Mirren on Tuesday. The Dons endured a difficult start to the current campaign, but have become upwardly mobile of late. St Mirren, meanwhile, remain second from bottom in the SPL table and have failed to win in their last three outings.

Duo return

Defenders Lee Mair and Andrew Considine return to the Aberdeen squad after missing Saturday's defeat to Dundee United with a virus. The Dons fans will have to wait a little longer for Jamie Smith's return, though, as the winger is still not match fit following his calf injury and is also suffering from the same virus that is making its way around the Pittodrie club. Stuart Duff, Tommy Wright and Bertrand Bossu also sit out the visit of Gus MacPherson's side through injury.
Cuthbert back
Scott Cuthbert returns to the St Mirren squad for their trip to Pittodrie. The 21-year-old defender missed Saturday's home defeat to Hearts after suffering from flu-like symptoms. However, Cuthbert, on loan from Celtic, trained on Monday and is back in contention for the journey north.
