Relive some of the attention-grabbing incidents during Practice One for the Japanese GP.

Jules Bianchi, newly re-signed for the 2014 season, wrecked his MR02, as he crashed out with such severity that the Marussia team withdrew the Frenchman from Practice Two.

Caterham's Giedo van der Garde also hit the barriers, while Pastor Maldonado lost a wheel as his Williams took a spin.

Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes topped the session with a time of 1:34.157
