Luiz Razia's management have denied a decision has been made on the driver's future after reports in Brazil suggested he was poised to fill the seat vacated at Marussia by Timo Glock.

The 23-year-old finished as runner-up in the 2012 GP2 Series with four race victories and brings significant sponsorship with him. He has previous connections with the British-based team having served as their test driver during their debut season of 2010, as Virgin Racing, and drove at the season ending young driver test.

Marussia came to a mutual termination with Glock in January citing tough economic conditions for the German's departure.

Testing on Sky Sports

From dawn to dusk, Sky Sports Online will be providing live interactive commentary from trackside at both Jerez and Barcelona on every day of testing this winter, while Sky Sports News will be providing regular live updates from the tests, starting with Jerez on February 5-8.

A round-up show featuring the day's interviews from Jerez will go out at 9pm each evening of the test on Sky Sports F1.

When contacted by Sky Sports F1 Online, Razia's management said: "There are still some seats available in Formula 1 and negotiations are ongoing. At the moment we have made no decision."

Razia's F1 experience extends beyond his time with Virgin, having replaced Jarno Trulli during first practice at the 2011 Chinese GP, as well as driving at that year's Young Driver Test for Team Lotus.

Last year the Brazilian drove for Toro Rosso during two of the three days at the Abu Dhabi young driver test, lapping three tenths quicker than Johnny Cecotto Jr managed in the same car. He also drove for Force India during their test at Magny-Cours.

If Razia was to join Marussia, the team would head into 2013 with an entirely rookie line-up with fellow GP2 graduate Max Chilton already confirmed.
