Valtteri Bottas says he would "really like to continue" with Williams in 2014, but says it is up to the team to decide if they want to retain him.

The 2011 GP3 Champion missed out the GP2 step on the single-seater ladder, instead spending 2012 as Williams reserve driver, taking part in 15 first practice sessions as the team groomed him for a race seat.

He duly replaced Bruno Senna ahead of the 2013 season and his put in a number of impressive displays - most notably qualifying third in Canada.

However, despite the positives, Bottas still does not know if he will be on the grid in 2014.

"I think we still have to see," he said in the FIA Press Conference ahead of the Singapore GP.

"It is always best to ask the team as they know best what they are going to do. But at the moment I am very confident and Williams and very comfortable and really would like to continue."
