Been enjoying Sky Sports F1's Classic Races series ahead of every grand prix weekend in the 2013 season?

Well, in a regular additional treat, we'll also be bringing you bitesize video highlights of the best classic race from each respective grand prix here online - a strand we've entitled Epic Races.

The first four past gems from Australia, Malaysia, China and Bahrain are below for you to enjoy and this page will be updated with the latest Epic Race video as the season progresses.

1. The 2003 Australian GP

With Formula 1 having arrived in Melbourne still suffering from something of a Ferrari malaise from the previous season when the dominant Scuderia swept all before them, the sport was in desperate need of a pick-me-up and, not for the first or last time, Melbourne's Albert Park provided exactly that.

Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello may have locked out the front-row and duly raced away in the early laps but on a drying track the race soon turned on its head in spectacular - and unpredictable - style.

With Juan-Pablo Montoya, Kimi Raikkonen and both Ferraris all running into trouble, it was McLaren's David Coulthard - from 11th place on the grid, no less - who kept his cool to claim what would turn out to be the 13th and final victory of his career. F1 was very much back on track.

2. The 2002 Malaysian GP

There were only two grands prix that Ferrari didn't win during the course of their storming 2002 campaign and the Malaysian GP at Sepang was the first.

The race win did go to a Schumacher but this time it was Ralf, rather than Michael, who took the honours after his brother tangled with the other Williams of Juan-Pablo Montoya at the first corner, an incident which put both drivers out of the reckoning for victory in the second race of the season.

It should also have been the weekend that Jenson Button, then a young driver at Renault, claimed his maiden F1 podium finish but a suspension problem let in a recovering Schumacher on the final lap.

3. The 2011 Chinese GP

Undoubtedly this was one of Lewis Hamilton's most exciting, and memorable, wins. It was also the first race where the advent of less durable tyres from Pirelli and the DRS overtaking aid really showed their full worth.

The 57-lap event produced 97 overtaking moves and a number of those were completed by Hamilton, including his race-winning pass on World Champion Sebastian Vettel four laps from the end after McLaren had pulled him in for an additional pitstop.

The afternoon was also memorable for a faux paus from Hamilton's team-mate Jenson Button, who inexplicably pulled up in Red Bull's pit box!

4. The 2006 Bahrain GP

While this year's Sakhir race may take the spoils as the most thrilling seen in Bahrain, the 2006 event witnessed the most compelling head-to-head battle for victory - and between two of the sport's greatest ever drivers to boot, Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher. What would turn into an intense battle for the 2006 crown would go down all the way to the wire in Brazil but Bahrain was where it all started that year as the two title protagonists engaged in a race-long desert duel.

After Schumacher confirmed that Ferrari were back in business following their struggles of the previous season by heading an all-scarlet frontrow from new team-mate Felipe Massa, the German led from reigning title winner Alonso through the first two stints of the race. However, in a role reversal of the kind of trick the Ferrari man routinely pulled on rivals to devastating effect over the previous decade, Alonso stayed out longer at the second round of stops and just about re-emerged ahead of Schumacher into the lead.

The season-opener was also memorable for Massa blotting his copybook with a spectacular spin right in front of Alonso's Renault down the main straight (pictured above) and Nico Rosberg announcing his arrival in F1 with a debut fastest race lap for Williams.
