Susie Wolff will test Williams’ 2015 car, the FW37, at the first Barcelona test in mid-February.

The Scot, who became the first woman to participate in a Grand Prix weekend in 20 years when she drove during Friday practice at the British and German GPs, has been promoted to the rank of Test Driver for 2015. The 32-year-old was previously the team's Development Driver.

The resurgent Williams outfit have confirmed that Wolff will run on 'one day of the first Barcelona pre-season test' which starts on Thursday February 19.

Wolff had herself earlier broken the news, tweeting: ‘With 6 weeks until my first test in the @WilliamsRacing #FW37 its full focus on fitness & preparation,’ Wolff tweeted from her official account.

The first winter test takes place at Jerez from February 1 with the final meet concluding exactly a month later on March 1.

Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas, who guided Williams to third in the Constructors’ Championship last season, will continue to drive for the team in 2015.
