David Croft and Ted Kravitz debate the possiblity of Red Bull switching to Ferrari powered engines for the 2016 season.

Sky Sports F1’s Ted Kravitz and David Croft debate whether Red Bull could turn to Ferrari for engines.

According to paddock gossipers in Austria, the Milton Keynes outfit have become so exasperated with the inadequacy of the power units provided by current supplier Renault that they are ready to turn to their erstwhile rivals Ferrari in a desperate bid to arrest their ongoing slump.

Although Red Bull were in harness with Renault for their four successive title doubles, the partnership has floundered – with bitter public recriminations – since the dawn of the sport’s new turbo era placed an increased emphasis on engine power.
