The first of F1’s two in-season tests starts in Barcelona on Tuesday, with Spanish GP winner Nico Rosberg running for Mercedes.
Rosberg will hand over to Pascal Wehrlein on Wednesday, with rules stipulating that each team must allocate at least two of the four 2015 test days in total for young driver training.
As such, the Circuit de Catalunya will see a number of young drivers take to the track, including Williams test driver Alex Lynn, who won his first GP2 race there at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Jenson Button, who described his McLaren car as “scary” in Sunday’s race, will return alongside Oliver Turvey.
All of the teams with the exception of Manor are participating in the two-day event.
The second in-season test takes place after next month’s Austrian GP at the Red Bull Ring.
