In-form Lewis Hamilton is to appear in Thursday's Drivers' Press Conference in Shanghai ahead of his attempts to secure a hat-trick of victories for the first time in his F1 career this weekend.

On the back of defeating Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg in each of the last two grands prix to close on the German in the championship, Hamilton is eyeing the double target of three-in-a-row and a first success in China since 2008 in Sunday's race.

The Briton will be joined in Thursday's session - which takes place live on Sky Sports F1 at 8am - by Fernando Alonso after a week of big developments at Ferrari following the sudden departure of Team Principal Stefano Domenicali and arrival of the little-known Marco Mattiacci.

Red Bull have also been in the news following their unsuccessful appeal against Daniel Ricciardo's Australian GP disqualification and the Aussie driver himself will speak in public on the decision for the first time in the press conference.

The high-profile trio will be joined in the line-up by Force India's Sergio Perez, the Mexican fresh from his impressive podium last time out in Bahrain, and Sauber pair Adrian Sutil and Esteban Gutierrez.

Friday's team boss' conference, meanwhile, is poised to be an engine special with Mercedes' Andrew Cowell and Renault's Rob White joined by Honda motorsport chief Yasuhisa Arai ahead of the Japanese manufacturer's return to F1 with McLaren next season.

Pat Fry will represent underperforming Ferrari while, in a rare appearance, FIA Race Director Charlie Whiting completes the five-man line-up.

Both press conferences will air live on Sky Sports F1, with the drivers' session up first on Thursday at 8am and the team bosses' following Practice Two on Friday at 9am.
