Felipe Massa's debut behind the wheel of a Williams car will come on the third day of next week's Jerez test, the team have revealed, with Valtteri Bottas given the honour of debuting the new FW36.

Having confirmed their attendance at the first test of the winter last week, the Grove-based outfit posted an additional Tweet on Monday outlining their driver run plan for the four days in southern Spain, the first outfit to do so.

"We can announce we will be on track in Jerez. @ValtteriBottas will do days 1 & 2 @Felipe1Massa days 3 & 4 running our heritage blue livery," the Tweet read.

The reference to 'heritage blue livery' would appear to refer to the interim all-navy colour scheme Williams last ran in testing in 2011, which was followed by a later livery launch ahead of the racing season.

Deputy Team Principal Claire Williams confirmed at the end of last season that the branding of Venezuelan oil company PDVSA would not appear on the 2014 car following Pastor Maldonado's defection to Lotus, while they have operated without a title sponsor since 2011.

After two years of contrasting fortunes back in tandem with Renault power, Williams have signed a deal to run Mercedes' all-new turbo power units from 2014 while the Grove team have also made a number of high-profile signings to bolster their technical operation after scoring just five points last year.

The team have yet to officially confirm their launch plans for the FW36, but it looks likely that they will join Red Bull, Mercedes and Caterham in an early morning pitlane reveal at Jerez on January 28.
