A year on from the harrowing scenes at the Spanish Grand Prix when the Williams garage erupted in flames, fire safety remains crucial for the all of the Formula 1 teams.

Mechanics from numerous outfits tackled the blaze at the Circuit de Catalunya, giving no thoughts to their own safety, as they tried to control it before the tracks safety team arrived.

Now to ensure their mechanics are fully prepared should such an incident occur again, Force India have given their team specialised training at the West Midlands Fire and Rescue Academy.
