FIA: Approved 2013 F1 calendar on Friday
The FIA confirmed the calendar for the 2013 Formula 1 season at a meeting of its World Motor Sport Council in Paris on Friday.
The schedule is, by and large, the same as that leaked ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix last weekend.
However, the dates of the Japanese and Korean Grands Prix have been swapped, with both the German and Belgian GPs also brought forward by a week.
The only race still to be confirmed is the inaugural New Jersey Grand Prix, which is pencilled in for June 16.
Speaking earlier this week, F1's commercial rights controller Bernie Ecclestone said that organisers of the race no longer had a valid contract.
The Sporting and Technical Regulations for the 2013 season were also signed off at the WMSC meeting, whilst progress towards the signing of a new Concorde Agreement also appears to have been made.
A statement on the FIA's website said: "The FIA President confirmed that positive and constructive discussions continue with regard to the new Concorde Agreement and it is anticipated a contract will be signed by the end of October."
