So Formula 1 is on a break between Bahrain and Barcelona. Well, I say on a 'break', what I mean is the teams aren't racing but they have been testing at Mugello. Our very own Ted has been with the teams in the Tuscan hills after we sent him to Italy to get the inside scoop on who has been testing what exactly and in tonight's F1 Show he'll report back with his findings. Much has been made of the fact McLaren went to Mugello without their drivers. That's not strictly true, they did take reserve drivers Gary Paffett and Oliver Turvey but left Jenson and Lewis at home. Why? Ted will no doubt tell us later. While Lewis' whereabouts are still unknown, we do know where Jenson was and what he was up to this week. Natalie tracked him down and found him in Budapest tearing up the Hungarian streets on sponsorship duty. Tonight he talks about his strange start to 2012 which has seen him finish first and second in two races and out of the points in the two others. We've also got a father and son special as Martin Brundle opens up about his preparations for Le Mans where he'll get back in the driving seat this summer to race alongside son, Alex. They are both equally determined to succeed. Talk about like father like son. #chipofftheoldblock! So tonight's show is a look back at the week's events, a look ahead to Europe and hopefully an opportunity for Ted to present me with, well a present, from Italy! I'm thinking white truffles. Too expensive? Who cares! I don't. #wasn'tpaying GT x The F1 Show goes to air at 8pm on Friday and will be repeated at 11.30pm and then at 10am and 11.40pm on Saturday
