Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel feels some fans have been unfair to boo him this season

German unsure why he received a hostile reception at Silverstone

Sebastian Vettel is unsure why he was booed at the British Grand Prix - and admits he feels it was unjust.

As Vettel edges towards a fourth consecutive title, many are predicting Lewis Hamilton will be his closest challenger in 2013. The German says his relationship with the Mercedes driver has improved this season, but has no intention of embracing the 28-year-old's celebrity lifestyle away from the circuit. "Lately, I have got on very well with Lewis," he added. "He has a different lifestyle, it is fair to say that. I am not on Facebook. I am not on Twitter. I choose the farm, way outside the city. For him, maybe the city and some parties is what he likes. I don't judge him. "I think it is important to be who I am. The moment you try to be someone else it backfires. If someone, Lewis for example, likes to live a certain life, in the celebrity world, it is the best way he will recover, strange as it sounds. It probably allows him to perform at his optimum."
