Gary Anderson: Former Premier League champion
One of only three men to win the Premier League, Gary Anderson looks some way off the man who won in 2011 when he enjoyed his best season in the PDC.
It will be just a third year of Premier League action for Anderson, with his victory coming in his debut season but his next seeing him dumped out in the league stage.
The three-time runner-up in majors does have the game though if he can regain his best form, and you will certainly not lose the Scot given the new outrageous shirts he has been sporting.
Seven Players Championships and UK Open Qualifiers won in 2011 along with the Premier League was a great year, but he did not follow up in 2012.
The following 12 months were a good deal tougher for the Scot, though, with his form unsurprisingly affected by the loss of his father to stomach cancer and a subsequent eye injury.
That said, he still fired in his first-ever televised nine-darter at the UK Open and as recently as October won the Irish Masters in Dublin, albeit a non-ranking event, so there have been positives.

Though he won the World Darts Trophy, International Darts League and Dutch Masters in the BDO, the World Championship always eluded him; indeed he exited four times in the first round.
That's evidence of the perception he is something of a slow starter but he has shown on many occasions since his switch over to the PDC that he is able to mix it with the best consistently.
Having lost to Adrian Lewis in the World Championship final two years ago, he was also runner-up at the Players' Championship that year before winning his first major PDC title when he gained a measure of revenge by beating Lewis to win the Premier League.
His rather fallow period since has to be a concern, though, particularly as he has big money to defend in the two-year rolling calendar that decides a player's standing in the PDC Order of Merit.
