Sixth-seed James Wade will start his challenge for the World Darts Championship on Sunday.
The Aldershot thrower is a two time semi-finalist at Alexandra Palace and begins the tournament with a first-round clash against Jamie Lewis in the evening session.
Dave Chisnall will also be targeting the latter stages after reaching last month’s Grand Slam final, eventually losing to Phil Taylor.
The eighth seed, who is yet to progress past the last 16, has been handed a first-round meeting with Holland’s Ryan De Vreede.
Kim Huybrechts (18) and Ian White (15) will also be hoping to secure their progress in the later matches.
The afternoon session is opened by Paul Nicholson’s clash against young Dutchman Benito van de Pas.
Nicholson, a Newcastle-based Australian, will be keen to erase memories of his second-round loss against Robert Thornton.
Seasoned campaigners such as Kevin Painter, Dean Winstanley and Mark Webster are also in action in the capital.
You can watch day four of the World Darts Championship on Sky Sports Darts HD, starting at 12.30pm
