Popular South African Devon Petersen was among the players to win Tour Cards on day two of the 2015 PDC Qualifying School.

Veteran professional Andy Jenkins, Matthew Edgar and Jason Love have also secured their returns to the ProTour on a full-time basis.

Three-time World Championship qualifier Petersen will be back on the professional PDC circuit on a full-time basis after a two-year break to recover from an arm injury.

Petersen, 28, was only taken to a deciding leg once on the day, by Scott Campbell, and he secured 5-2 victories over Darren Whittingham, Nathan Richards, Austrian youngster Roxy-James Rodriguez and former World Championship finalist Kirk Shepherd, before overcoming Chris Hartrey 5-1 in his decider.

Petersen said: “It's crazy for me.

“In the first instance I never lost my Tour Card - I was ranked 59th so I had to relinquish it because of the injury - and returning after a few years is amazing, I'm almost near to tears.

“The draw fell in my favour and the darts picked up during the day, and I'm over the moon that I've got my Tour Card.

Portsmouth's Jenkins, a former World Championship semi-finalist, also won through the 366-player field on Thursday as he secured his return to the ProTour on a full-time basis.

And Thursday's fourth Card winner was Jason Lovett, a 39-year-old from Norwich who enjoyed a 5-0 whitewash victory over Crewe's Tony Richardson in their decider.
