The team formed out of a merger of Garmin-Sharp and Cannondale will be known as Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling, their management have announced.

The new set-up will be built mainly around Garmin-Sharp's existing squad and structure, with the 27-man roster for 2015 being made up of 17 riders from Garmin-Sharp, seven riders from Cannondale and three new arrivals.

Joe Dombrowski has joined from Team Sky, Kristoffer Skjerping has been recruited from Team Joker and Ruben Zepuntke will move from the Bissell Development Team.

Cannondale-Garmin will be managed by Slipstream Sports, in which Cannondale now has an ownership stake, while Slipstream chief executive Jonathan Vaughters will assume the same role for the new team.

“2015 is our youngest group of athletes yet, and it’s also young in that it’s a new team," Vaughters said. "That gives us huge opportunities.
