We are delighted to announce that we have selected Retül as our official bike fit technology supplier for the 2013 season.
The deal extends our partnership which began with the creation of the team in 2009.
Earlier this month, Retül sent their Director of Fit Services and Education, Todd Carver, to the Team Sky training camp in Mallorca and he worked closely with our performance staff and mechanics to ensure the riders were fitted precisely to their road and time trial bikes by utilising the company’s new Vantage 3D Motion Capture tool.
Riders underwent a comprehensive 3D analyses of their positions and detailed changes were made to improve their performance.
The full Retül suite of bike fit products - which also includes the Levül adjustable wheel block and Müve Dynamic Fitting bike - will be used by Team Sky throughout the 2013 campaign.
