Laura Trott: Won the women's individual pursuit in Manchester

Double Olympic champion Laura Trott won the women's individual pursuit on the second day of the British Cycling National Track Championships in Manchester.

The 21-year-old, who also won double gold at the World Championships in February in Minsk, was a clear winner in three minutes 34.973 seconds ahead of Dani King, a fellow member of the victorious team pursuit in London last year, who clocked 3mins 42.355secs.

Katie Archibald of City of Edinburgh RC was third behind the Wiggle Honda pair.

Second gold

Ed Clancy claimed his second gold in two days when he added the points race title to the open pursuit he won on Wednesday ahead of Sam Harrison and George Atkins.

Kian Emadi successfully defended his kilo time trial title in 1:01.702 ahead of Clancy (1:02.189) and Matthew Crampton.

Crystal Lane won the two gold medals in the Para-cycling 200m Flying Start Time Trial.
