Becky James rounded off a successful National Track Championships with her fourth title in five days by successfully defending her keirin title.
The 20-year-old from Abergavenny warmed up for next month's opening round of the Track World Cup in Colombia by adding to the 500m time-trial, sprint and team sprint titles she won earlier in the week.
"I'm really chuffed," she said. "I had in my head what I wanted to achieve and I think it went better than expected.
"The track nationals is a big event for me. It's a great start to the season."
The North-West region B squad of David Daniell, Lewis Oliva and Peter Mitchell won the men's team sprint title in 45.036sec, just two tenths of a second in front of the City of Edinburgh team of Bruce Croall, John Paul and new sprint champion Callum Skinner.
Omnium succes for Yates
Simon Yates secured the omnium title after an impressive display of consistent racing across all four of the events.
The 100 per cent ME rider, who was runner up in 2011, won both the 15km points and elimination races and was second in the flying lap time trial, meaning he went into the final scratch race with a 12-point cushion.
Yates finished third behind team-mate George Atkins in that race but it was enough to wrap up the title.
"It's a great feeling and I couldn't ask for more," Yates said. "It's been a great couple of days and just to top it off I'm national champion.
"I've just come off the road and it's nice to come on here and still perform."
Elsewhere, Elinor Barker and her Scott Contessa Epic team won the battle of the junior world road champions in the women's team pursuit final, catching the Node4-Giordana trio of Lucy Garner, Corrine Hall and Harriet Owen in 2min 45.778secs. Lucy Garner and Harriet Owen (Node4-Giordana) retained their women's madison title and the junior men's madison title went to the Hargroves Cycles pair of Jon Dibben and Sam Lowe.
