Fenn: Marked himself out as the next exciting British talent with his second win in two days
Britain’s Andy Fenn stamped his authority on the Challenge Mallorca once again with victory at the Trofeo Migjorn.
The 21-year-old (Omega Pharma-Quickstep) proved he is in top form off the back of his debut professional victory on Sunday in the first race of the series, again taking top honours from the bunch sprint.
The race provided more of a challenge for the peloton with two sharp climbs towards its conclusion which split the action into three groups momentarily.
Alexander Porsev (Katusha) and Matteo Pelucchi (Europcar) rounded out the podium places with Team Sky’s Edvald Boasson Hagen also in the mix in fifth.

The action headed further around the island’s southern coast for race two and 171.7 undulating kilometres based around Llucmajor.
After the previous week’s cold snap in Europe the race got under way with the temperature gauge reading a positively tropical 11 degrees.
Jetse Bol (Rabobank), David Veilleux (Europcar) and Alexander Wetterhall (Endura) were the three riders willing to push on and quickly saw their advantage wind out to a maximum of seven minutes and 25 seconds.
Heading into the finale the gap to the trio was slashed as the peloton joined forces to redouble its chase efforts.
Despite a brief scare as the peloton fractured the sprinters again came to the fore with Fenn able to prove he is the real deal with a second win in as many days.
