The 31-year-old Lotto Belisol rider broke clear of the bunch and hung on to win by 15 seconds from runner-up Anna van der Breggen and third-placed Marianne Vos, both of Rabobank-liv.

The result saw Vos retain her 45-second lead of the race over second-placed Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, another of her team-mates.
