The 2014 UCI Track Cycling World Championships take place in Cali, Colombia, from Wednesday February 26, to Sunday, March 2.

The championships are seen as a key barometer of progress at the mid-point between the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Wednesday, February 26

First session: 5pm-6.15pm GMT. Second session: 11.15pm-2.15am GMT

The men's team sprint is one of Wednesday's highlights

- Men's team pursuit

- Women's team sprint
- Women's scratch race

Thursday, February 27

First session: 5pm-8pm GMT. Second session: 11.30pm-2.50am GMT

- Women's team pursuit
- Men's keirin
- Women's 500m time trial
- Men's scratch race
- Men's individual pursuit

Friday, February 28

First session: 5pm-8.50pm GMT. Second session: 11.30pm-3.05am GMT

Jess Varnish will ride in the early rounds of the individual sprint on Friday

- Men's points race
- Women's individual pursuit
- Men's 1km time trial
- Women's sprint: qualifying, quarter-finals and semi-finals
- Men's omnium: flying lap, points race, elimination race

Saturday, March 1

First session: 5pm-8.50pm GMT. Second session: 11.30pm-3.15am GMT

- Women's sprint: gold and bronze-medal finals
- Men's omnium: individual pursuit, scratch race, 1km time trial
- Women's points race
- Men's sprint: qualifying, quarter-finals and semi-finals
- Women's omnium: flying lap, points race and elimination race

Sunday, March 2

First session: 5pm-6.35pm GMT. Second session: 8.30pm-11.55pm GMT
